After heavy rainfall, our clients found water would ingress to living areas inside their home. With thorough investigation, we discovered there was no fall in tiles away from the door in the initial build. This meant that rainwater would fall towards the door, causing drainage problems. 

To suit the client’s budget, we proposed a strip drain along the full length of the balcony. This solution forces water to enter the drain and flow away from all door entries and thresholds. All works were constructed within Australian design standards.
